Binance has announced plans to extend its Monitoring Tag to additional tokens and remove select tokens from both the Monitoring Tag and Seed Tag lists following its latest compliance review.
According to Binance’s official website, the Monitoring Tag and Seed Tag systems are part of the platform’s ongoing commitment to transparency, investor protection, and market integrity. These tags identify tokens with higher volatility, limited liquidity, or shorter operational histories to alert users to potential trading risks. Binance conducts periodic reviews of all tagged tokens to assess their compliance with its listing criteria and may update or remove tags based on findings from these evaluations.
As detailed in Binance’s October 9 announcement, Wanchain (WAN) has been added to the Monitoring Tag list following the company’s most recent review. The same update removed GoPlus Security (GPS) and MovieBloc (MBL) from the Monitoring Tag list, while four tokens—Berachain (BERA), BIO Protocol (BIO), ZKsync (ZK), and LayerZero (ZRO)—were delisted from the Seed Tag list. Binance said that these updates reflect its assessment of project maturity, market stability, and overall development progress.
