Binance has announced the introduction of the Blockchain 100 Award, a new initiative aimed at recognizing individuals who promote cryptocurrency through education, information sharing, or inspirational content. This program is set to unfold over multiple stages throughout the fall calendar and will culminate in a ceremony during Binance Blockchain Week 2025.
According to Binance, public nominations for the award will take place from September 25 to October 12. Shortlisted candidates will then move on to community voting from October 15 to October 26. The winners are scheduled to be revealed on November 3 and honored at an in-person ceremony on December 3. The company emphasizes media exposure and collaborations with Web3 creators and social-finance projects as means to elevate winners and broaden public engagement.
The voting process is designed with specific guidelines: users with verified Binance accounts can cast one vote per category per day, with a maximum of seven votes daily across seven categories. Daily updates of leaderboards will occur until final winners are confirmed on November 3. Eligibility criteria for creators include publishing crypto-educational or inspirational content, maintaining a public identity without major disputes, and having at least 10,000 followers on one major platform.
