Paris Blockchain Week, the largest digital asset conference in Europe, has announced that Richard Teng, CEO of cryptocurrency exchange Binance, will be a speaker at this year's event. Teng has previously lauded Paris as a hub for emerging technology and innovation.

In a post by Paris Blockchain Week on X, the organizers expressed their excitement about the growing list of speakers. "Our powerhouse line-up of speakers just keeps growing. Paris Blockchain Week 2024 is set to redefine the future of blockchain with our incredible line-up of visionary leaders and innovators." Alongside Teng, other speakers at the upcoming conference include Circle CEO and Co-founder Jeremy Allaire, Founding and Managing Partner of Draper Associates Tim Draper, Lightspark CEO and Co-founder David Marcus, and Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse.

In a statement released by Paris Blockchain Week, Teng spoke highly of the city's contribution to blockchain technology. "Over the years, Paris has blossomed into a vibrant hub for blockchain, nurturing a fertile ground for the technology to thrive and innovations to flourish. Paris Blockchain Week stands as a testament to this reality, as it has evolved to become one of the most highly anticipated blockchain events. The Binance website reveals that multiple officials from Binance participated in Paris Blockchain Week 2022. Former CEO and co-founder Changpeng Zhao gave an opening morning fireside chat at the conference. David Princay, CEO of Binance France, took part in a discussion about France’s pioneering role in the blockchain space while Hugo Coelho from Binance discussed how regulation is crucial to advancing the "crypto revolution." Other Binance representatives talked about venture capitalism's next generation and why blockchain education should be central to web3.

According to the event's website, more than 8,500 individuals participated in Paris Blockchain Week 2023. The discussions covered a range of topics including Web3 potential, the future of payments, and tokenization. This year's conference is scheduled to take place from April 9-11 at Le Carrousel du Louvre.
