Clara Chappaz, the newly appointed Secretary of State for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technology, attended the France Numerique Ensemble event in Savoie, where she engaged with stakeholders focused on digital inclusion.

According to a post on X, Chappaz attended the France Numerique Ensemble in Savoie where she met with digital inclusion stakeholders as part of the Digital in Common 2024. She said that the driving force behind her action is "putting digital technology and in particular AI at the service of everyone."

Digital in Common 2024 (NEC24) "is an initiative supported by the Digital Society Program of the National Agency for Territorial Cohesion (ANCT)," according to their website. The conference was first started in 2020 with a mission "to advise and support local authorities and their groups in the design, definition and implementation of their projects, particularly in favor of access to digital technology."

Digital in Common is the "pilot" of the France Digital Ensemble plan and works closely with authorities and stakeholders to "structure, equip and accelerate projects for an innovative and inclusive society.

Clara Chappaz became the new French Secretary of State for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Assets in September of 2024, according to her profile on Linkedin. Prior to assuming her position in French Government, she gained several years of experience in the tech industry serving in multiple positions such as the Director at La French Tech for 3 years, Chief Business and Growth Officer for Vestiaire Collective for 3 years, and VP International of LYST for one year. Chappaz received a Masters in Business and Administration at the Harvard School of Business and a Masters of Science (Grand Ecole), Strategy & Entrepreneurship.
