Mathieu Michel, the European Union’s Secretary of State for Digitalization, stated that the EU is striving to stay at the forefront of technological advancements in areas such as blockchain. Michel shared his statement during the Web3 Leaders Forum on July 10. France’s Association for the Development of Digital Assets (Adan), which hosted the forum, shared Michel’s statement in a post.

That is what the Europeum project, which was a priority of the Belgian presidency, aimed at getting benefits from. Blockchain is one of the keys for tomorrow's world, and let's remember that if you are not ahead, you are always behind."
