Will Europe ban Bitcoin mining?

In Europe, Bitcoin mining has its share of detractors. Among them, the European Commission, the European Central Bank, and the European Union. The regulator thus seems to be pushing towards a limitation, and a possibility of banning the digital gold mining process.
