CoinDesk announced that Binance Co-founder and Co-CEO Yi He has been recognized in its “Most Influential 2025” honorable mentions, citing her behind-the-scenes leadership and the company’s continued growth.
According to CoinDesk, Yi He is described as a key force in Binance’s growth while largely staying out of the limelight until her recent appointment as co-CEO. Her influence spans initiatives like venture activity and ecosystem development, alongside work tied to expanding BNB Chain and supporting Binance’s strategic acquisitions.
Binance said that Yi He’s elevation to co-CEO reflects the company’s focus on user protection and community trust. The platform is nearing 300 million users, which it has now surpassed, and reiterates its ambition to reach one billion. In public remarks and related materials, Binance aims to remain “the most trusted and regulated exchange” while “always putting our users first.”
Recently, Binance achieved full regulatory authorization from Abu Dhabi Global Market’s Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) as a separate compliance milestone. The company indicated that this approval allows it to operate under FSRA oversight in ADGM. External reports characterize the authorization as full regulatory approval aligning with Binance’s efforts to meet regulated-market standards.
Founded in 2017, Binance has grown into a leading global blockchain ecosystem with the world’s largest digital asset exchange by trading volume. It offers products across trading, custody, payments, research, education, and institutional services. The company’s mission is to build the core infrastructure for tomorrow’s crypto-powered financial system with a user-first approach emphasizing security, transparency, and regulatory alignment in major markets worldwide.
