Binance announced in a press release the launch of two exclusive Mitosis events within its Wallet, including a Booster Program distributing 1.5% of MITO supply and a Token Generation Event offering early access to MITO tokens.
Binance unveiled the Mitosis campaign as part of its effort to expand early-stage project support through Binance Wallet. According to Binance’s official press release, the campaign combines a Booster Program that rewards user participation during the project’s early development with a Token Generation Event (TGE) that allows eligible users to subscribe to MITO tokens before they become tradable. This dual approach is designed to drive engagement, incentivize early adopters, and highlight Binance Wallet as a platform for innovative launches.
The Booster Program’s Season 1 runs from August 19 to August 25, 2025, with a total reward pool equivalent to $1,000,000 in MITO tokens. According to Binance, 5,000,000 MITO will be distributed on the Token Generation Event date, and if that amount does not meet the $1,000,000 value threshold, additional rewards will be released the following day. The event is open to all Binance Wallet users without Alpha Point requirements, and deposits into Mitosis vaults can be made with BNB or USDT; however, certain restrictions apply for European Economic Area (EEA) users under Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA).
The Token Generation Event provides 10,000,000 MITO tokens—representing 1% of total supply—at a fixed price of $0.02 in BNB, raising $200,000 in total. According to Binance, users can contribute up to 3 BNB each, and allocations are calculated on a pro-rata basis relative to overall deposits during the subscription period. Once complete, the tokens will be claimable and tradable on Binance Alpha, with circulation dates confirmed by the Mitosis project team.
Binance is described as the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume. It offers spot and derivatives markets, staking services, custody solutions, research capabilities, and project launch services through its ecosystem. According to CoinMarketCap data cited by Binance’s press release, it processes over $200 billion in daily trading volume and serves more than 280 million users globally across over 180 jurisdictions. Its infrastructure and liquidity depth position it as a central platform for hosting token generation events and airdrop campaigns such as the Mitosis launch.
