Rachel Conlan, Chief Marketing Officer at Binance, said that Binance Blockchain Week is a global event showcasing the broader crypto ecosystem and the strength of its community. She made this statement in a press release on March 4.
“Binance Blockchain Week is about so much more than just Binance,” said Conlan. “It’s a celebration of the entire crypto ecosystem and the incredible power of community. This event really shows how crypto is bringing people together from all over the world.”
According to Binance’s official blog, the company has launched a docuseries titled “Building the Future: Inside Binance Blockchain Week.” This series offers an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the 2024 event held in Dubai. It provides insights into the planning and execution of one of the most significant events in the crypto industry, featuring interviews with key figures and showcasing the event’s impact on the global crypto community. The first episode is now available on Binance’s YouTube channel.
As reported by NFT Evening, the cryptocurrency market has experienced significant growth over the past decade, with increasing adoption by both retail and institutional investors. This expansion has led to a more robust and mature market infrastructure, attracting further interest and investment.
According to BeInCrypto, Conlan joined Binance as Chief Marketing Officer in 2023. With extensive experience in global brand strategy, she previously held senior roles at OKX and Havas, shaping marketing initiatives in fintech and blockchain.
Founded in 2017 by Changpeng Zhao, Binance has become the largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume. It holds regulatory approval in 21 global markets—more than any other crypto exchange. The company operates under multiple financial licenses, including those from Brazil’s Central Bank, Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority, and France’s Financial Markets Authority. To strengthen compliance, Binance has invested in anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) initiatives. It integrates advanced transaction monitoring systems and collaborates with blockchain analytics firms to enhance security and regulatory adherence, as per its website.
