Faustine Fleuret, President of Adan as well as the Jury of the Patrimonia Trophies, spoke at the Patrimonia 2024 Investment Management Exhibition event on the topic of “how to integrate Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulations into clients’ advice on crypto investments.”Â
This was the company’s third year participating in the roundtable event, according to a post on X by Adan. MiCA is a few months away from entering full European regulation and will concern all digital asset service providers (PSANs) who are “wishing to respond to the demand of their customers to acquire crypto and diversify their savings,” Adan said in the post.Â
The EU’s new Markets in Crypto-Assets regulations took effect on June 30 for all stablecoin issuers, ushering in “a new era of regulatory oversight for innovators in the Crypto space,” according to a release by Elliptic. This new rule states that “issuers must now obtain approval from relevant members of state authorities before offering their tokens within the EU, or when offering stablecoins pegged to the euro or other member state currency.”
